In The Netherlands where people haul around kids, pets, groceries and surfboards on bicycles you can get cargo bikes and trailers pretty easily, but Burley products are nowhere to be found.

The latest version of the Travoy has an extensible arm to fit more bikes; the previous one could be finicky fitting over large wheels with large racks.You can however, easily expand capacity with one of the additional bags that Travoy sell as add-ons (Though do note how this will add to the cost of the trailer). As more and more people are turning to bicycling to run errands and commute, there’s a greater demand to be able to carry items like groceries, a laptop or clothing. With a weight capacity of 60 pounds, a sturdy kickstand, and the ability to fold down to the size of a briefcase, the Travoy® folding bike trailer is all about turning everyday errands into an excuse to get outside on your bike. I use a beefy suspension seatpost on the CCX, for example, which forces the hitch to mount too low to clear my bike’s rack at my preferred seat height. Out of the box, we thought this dainty little trailer wouldn't have what it takes to see regular use.

While our two crash pads probably weighed in at just around 30 pounds, there was a significant bounce and flex in the structure of the trailer.Firstly, because they are fairly solid boxes that are open at the top, it’s really easy to load them. The 150 cm ROK Straps were barely long enough to wrap around the boxes and I had to use the smaller straps to secure the boxes further. I have long legs and take big steps, a wheel keeps hitting my heel, even when trying to be constantly aware it happens.
