The level of scrutiny and expectations on coaches are higher than ever, and, therefore, more and more countries and sport organizations are examining how coaches are currently recruited, educated, developed, supported, employed, represented, and recognized. Partly funded by Sport England, this cross-discipline programme is aimed at coaches who sustain and grow participation in all equestrian sports. This accelerator course focuses on applicable lessons great coaches wish they had known when they started. The contribution sport coaches make to society has received growing recognition among policy-makers over the last decade ( Council of the European Union, 2017, 2020).
