This phone has a huge battery, so big I don't power it on a full days of navigation but I do have some compatibility issues between the phone and the app which I am yet to feel confident have been solved. The LUMIX TZ95 is equipped with several advanced features, all intended to help you get the best shot.The Travel Zoom (TZ) range has defined the category making the range one of the perfect travelling accessories to have. Alongside the COOLPIX A1000 there doesn’t look to be a great difference in size and in fact there’s no more than a millimetre or two between them in any dimension, they’re also almost identical in weight. As we’re looking at them from the front, I’ll mention that the COOLPIX A1000 has a second zoom control on the lens barrel, whereas the TZ95 / ZS80 has a programmable ring. This ultra-lightweight travel zoom camera houses a 20.3 megapixel CMOS sensor and when paired with its 30x Leica optical zoom lens, which you can push to 60x via the intelligent zoom range, you can really see why the TZ is aimed towards users wanting a great all-around camera with minimal size and weight to carry. Up until recently, standalone compact cameras like the ZS80 have been increasingly thin on the ground. But now some manufacturers have decided that cameras with built-in lenses could be somewhat re-purposed as tools for the new wave of content creators – see alternatives including the Sony ZV-1, ZV-1 II, and ZV-1F - and Canon’s quirky PowerShot V10– A long battery life of approximately 380-shots per charge ensures you the power you need when on the go. Switching macro focusing on is a good idea if you want to get super-close to your subjects, and can be particularly useful for flowers and detail shots, for example. The fact that the ISO range tops out at a modest selectable ISO3200 at least means that the worst effects of image noise are avoided – we’d advise shooting up to ISO1600, however and leaving it at that, if you want to avoid a noticeable softening and degradation of the image entirely. Twenty megapixels is quite a lot to cram onto a 1/2.3-inch sensor – it’s probably the most you’d want to – so inevitably something has to give.
