probably the worst book i’ve ever read. i don’t even know where to start, there are so many things wrong with this book. since i probably can’t write an organized review, maybe i’ll just make a list. hang in there, because it’s going to be a long one.

literally everything else you can think of in a book is terrible in this one. no, i’m not exaggerating. read it for yourself.This book is about as fun as taking a knife up the pooper. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Other than that, I did like this book but didn’t love it. It gets 3.5-stars from me. Now, will I try K.A. Knight’s other books? Yes, definitely. Other readers have loved this book so I will be recommending it. It is part of KU right now (as of 8/2022). It’s a good long book but I just wish we got more of maybe 2 or 3 years ahead. Please K.A.Knight, if you could do a 2nd book it would make my year complete. I’m theirs in every sense of the word. But I’ve never been meek and compliant. These men, they look at me with longing. Their scarred, blood-stained hands holding me tight. They want everything I am, everything I have to give, and won’t stop until they get just that. They can own my body, but they will never have my heart.

The raging psychopath that literally sets people on fire for fun. Ok this is new. Scary, but new. So I respect it. Next? I don’t want to offend anyone, it’s okay to like what you like, but why the hell was this something people were recommending?? Out of all of the dark/taboo romances you could recommend, THIS is the one y’all are talking about 😭?? Well I had great expectations for this book but it’s written in a way that would appeal to teenagers. Yes the story has a dark theme and graphic sex but it’s so juvenile. I rarely buy ebooks unless they are cheaply priced or on sale. I also very rarely buy physical copies of books. I’m a bit of a minimalist so I have to absolutely adore a book to buy a physical copy that will be proudly displayed in my home. The emotional moments are just so good. She has them with every guy and each one is beautiful in its own way. Now I can’t imagine why I ever hated Ryder, how I thought D was a one dimensional maniac, Garrett was a grump.stars equals a great book. I might buy an ebook version when it’s on sale so that I can re-read it at least one more time.
