Other than that i liked the story development and the ending, Landry’s relationship with the guys was amazing, and i loved Scout in this book. This follows straight on from Triple Threat and ends the story of the Mannford Triplets and the woman all three want. Check your trigger warning because while it never overtly says what happens in the past and they leave it all pretty vague it can still make your skin crawl.I loved them actually and if you had asked me if that was going to happen I would have told you never in a million years. Landry got to the triplets' place, where she would be at the mercy of Scout, Sparrow, and Sully - three people, identical ones, that she thought before were one person, can you imagine her surprise especially with having Della with her. In fact, I would highly recommend you read this one after dark to avoid side eye or awkward conversations.

Nothing is quiet as exciting to her as reading a good book and then talking about it or making comments while reading with her friends that have read the book too. However, despite her initial horror she soon realises that Sully, Scout and Sparrow are providing her and Della, not only with protection and a safe haven, but a home that accepts each of them for who they truly are. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I think this storyline would have gone much better had it been a trilogy instead of a duet.The final book in this duet picks up where the other left off so it’s a good idea to read Triple Threat first. She thought she was running to a friend, but instead ran straight into the hands of the Mannford brothers. This dramatisation explores the complexities and intimacies of that relationship beyond anything possible in Dickens' day, in an adaptation giving fresh life and vividness to this beloved tale. I was over the moon to see my favourite Morelli appear to help the triplets especially as Leo really understood what Landry had been through and could sympathise with her.
