About this deal

The 4K UHD release is absolutely gorgeous in every way, with top notch video and audio, but of course the same Blu-ray extras that Shout released last august with their special edition Blu-ray (which is nothing to sneeze at). However, all is not as it seems, as the stray cat on her side of reality can talk down here, and it’s soon revealed that the “other mother” is a trap. With her parents too busy to pay attention to her, the precocious young girl ventures through a tunnel in their new house and finds an odd parallel world where Other Mother and Other Father dote on her and invite her to stay. Bright and adventurous at the cusp of teenagerdom where someone both is in need of their parents and repelled.

Interview participants throughout include Henry Selick, author Neil Gaiman, director of photography Peter Kozachik, actors Dakota Fanning, Jennifer Saunders, Teri Hatcher, Keith David, Ian McShane, Dawn French, Robert Bailey Jr.All told by a master storyteller who succeeds in creating a character you can root for and situations that will keep you gripped. The material on this site may not be reproduced, distributed, transmitted, cached or otherwise used except with the prior written permission of The Digital Bits, Inc. The featurette has some great looks at test footage and behind the scenes of the process and a look at each character and how they approached them including some great tests for each. An incredible ride from start to finish, the film catered to no certain audience and just was what it was and delivered to those of all ages who came to check it out. The film has a moral which is 'appreciate what you have, because when it's gone, you'll wish that you still had it' This is resembled with the relationship between Coraline and her parents.

Malheureusement ma PS3 ne les lis pas, c’est juste marqué « Invalid Region », je suis en Belgique et je suppose c’est dû aux zones. John Hodgman, art directors Tim Proost, Bo Henry, Matt Sanders, animators Travis Knight, Trey Thomas, Brad Schiff, Anthony Scott, Phil Dale, Amy Adamy, Suzanne Twining, Julianna Cox, VFX animator John Allan Armstrong, compositors Patrick Wass, Peter Vickery, Aidan Fraser, character fabrication supervisor Georgina Hayns, armaturist Jeremy Spake, lead hair and fur fabricator Suzanne Moulton, lead costume design fabricator Deborah Cook, and set dresser Bridget Phelan. Studios for 20 years, and I couldn't have had the success I have without the aid of some very important people. The Bold New Take on The Beloved Classic “The Color Purple” Debuts on 4K, Blu-ray and DVD March 12th!

You can only watch these all at once rather than one at a time and as each has an introduction from the director it does get a bit repetitive. Directed by Henry Selick, who wrote the screenplay based on Neil Gaiman's 2002 young-peoples' best seller.

Director Henry Selick's ("The Nightmare Before Christmas") beguiling 3D animated film, based on the Neil Gaiman novel, co-stars the voices of Teri Hatcher, Ian McShane.Henry Selick’s beautiful adaptation of the Neil Gaiman novel Coraline is a distillation of the best parts of the director and author’s work. An evil monster who manipulates and controls events to lure unsuspecting children in and then steal away their life as she sucks them dry. Covering all aspects from voice acting to puppet making and puppet costumes and how stop motion animation works this is very interesting viewing and well worth a look. Not creepy exactly (okay, the mangy cat is kind of creepy), but certainly delightfully odd, if at times too macabre for young children. Coraline is the kind of dark fantasy that Gaiman and Selick specialize in, but we rarely get in cinema.

Right off the bat, the sound effects and score make an astounding presence that feels more immersive and louder than the last outing on Blu-ray. The bass response appears to be pretty much identical, but I DID notice I needed a level boost from the 5.But when Coraline discovers that her mother in this new world has plans for her, the old phrase about being careful what you want because you just might get it becomes very true indeed. The caveat here is that while the alternate universe is quite fun and zany, there's a sinister and evil entity lurking in the shadows that causes Coraline to come to terms with her lot in life and make amends with her family. Based on Neil Gaiman’s 2002 novella of the same name, Coraline is a deceptively light story of a young girl named Coraline (Dakota Fanning, who sounds ridiculously like her younger Sister Elle here)who has just moved into a remote apartment “house” out in rural Oregon. Given specific instructions to go explore the house and LEAVE THEM ALONE by her parents, Coraline sets out to find something to entertain herself.
